How to make a background

This tutorial shows you how to make a background using Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.

Step 1:



Open your version of PSP & go to File>New.

Create a new image with:
Image dimensions: Width: 100, Height 100
Image Characteristics: Background color: White. Like the preview above.

You will then have an image like below



Step 2:



Click on your paintbrush tool then go to the paint brush image to the right, choose custom and then find the sparkle/glit image like the preview below. press ok.



Step 3:

Now apply this making sure to change the colours so you end up with something like below, you can also change the size of the sparkle/glit so you get a cool effect. Be creative.

You can also create larger sized backgrounds doing the same as above and use different brushes. I used width: 150 & Height: 150 for this background.

Here is the code you use to place a background on your webpage:

Place between < head > < / head > tags of your html pages



Replace "BACKGROUND IMAGE URL GOES HERE" with the url to your background image.
